TENOM: Kerajaan digesa agar jangan terlalu ghairah mengadakan pilihanraya umum kali ke-13 sekiranya masalah mengenalpasti kesahihan dokumen pengenalan diri belum diselesaikan terlebih dahulu menerusi Suruhanjaya Siasatan DiRaja (RCI).

Adalah difahamkan bahawa penubuhan RCI telah pun dipersetujui oleh Kabinet Persekutuan dan dijangka akan diumumkan Perdana Menteri pada bila bila masa sahaja, kata Naib Ketua Bahagian Parti STAR (State Reform Party) kawasan Tenom Gosubin Yosundang.

TENOM : Kedatangan Perdana Menteri Dato'Seri Najib Tun Razak ke Sabah yang difahamkan akan ada pengumuman mengenai penubuhan Suruhanjaya Siasatan DiRaja (RCI) yang sebelum ini ianya dinanti nantikan pelbagai lapisan rakyat namun khabar gembira itu disambut dengan kehampaan dan kekecewaan rakyat Sabah.

Malahan ramai yang kecewa kerana menunggu dengan penuh harapan ianya akan menjadi kenyataan namun sehingga Najib balik ke Kuala Lumpur, beliau langsung tidak menyebut pun soal RCI.

Dr Felix joining STAR lauded by Chinese activist

KOTA KINABALU : The decision by former DAP leader Dr Felix Chong in joining a Borneo-based State Reform Party (STAR) is laudable and a correct step taken by a patriotic local Chinese Sabahan, said state social and consumerism activist, Donny Yapp Tai Hua.

Yapp who himself is not yet a member of any political party, in a statement issued here today, said it is heartening to see a Chinese Sabahan with great leadership potential to throw his support to a known state right advocate like Dr Jeffrey Kitingan.

KDCA slammed for failing to respond to State AG's attack on NCR land

KOTA KINABALU : The Kadazandusun Cultural Association (KDCA) being the custodian of the KDM's rights which include their native lands and the KDM's are all natives, KDCA should be in the forefront in defending these rights. But alas, KDCA is silent.

This could be construed to mean that KDCA and its president Joseph Pairin Kitingan, who is the Huguan Siou of the KDMs, are condoning this barbaric land grabs of the KDM's native customary lands, now this devilish pronouncment of non-existence of NCR lands after 1930 by the highest legal mind of the Government of which Pairin is a party.

STAR Committed to UBA and United Opposition

“The recent report of young turks in STAR wishing to go alone is totally false and baseless. STAR Sabah is fully committed to the United Borneo Alliance (UBA) and a united opposition to oust the current Umno/BN Governments” stated Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan, STAR Sabah Chairman.

“STAR has also sealed the Semporna Declaration with USNO and their supporters sealing the unity of ethnic Sabahans where candidates from USNO will contest under the USNO banner and USNO supporters will support all STAR candidates throughout Sabah.”
