‘Sabah BN will fall’ over illegal immigrant issue

KOTA KINABALU: The recent murder of a by-stander, during a robbery by an illegal immigrant in Sabah, has thrown into sharp focus the giant in the room – the massive presence of illegal immigrants in the state.

In its strongest protest so far, a loyal Barisan Nasional ally said that the continued blatant disregard for the rule of law where foreigners were allowed to roam the streets with impunity would spell doom for Sabah’s ruling coalition.

The myths of Sarawak polls results

The dust has begun to settle on the 10th Sarawak polls with the BN touting its retention of the two-thirds majority as a victory, while Pakatan Rakyat points to the more than doubling of its seats. This was the most competitive state election in Sarawak's history and was hard fought by both sides. 


BN, led by Prime Minister Najib Razak essentially camped in the state for 10 days to assure the two-thirds, while the opposition also focused is national machinery in Sarawak, bringing in the top guns from Peninsular Malaysia and thousands of party workers.

Oh dear! Sir, what's happening? Two of Malaysia's foremost bishops are fuming mad at you. This is unprecedented. Not fair lah, Sir, you have to inherit the problem from your ex-boss who caused the problem when he banned the Alkitab or Malay Bible 31 years ago.
