FELDA to return 306,000 acres of land to the State

Kong – FELDA, another bad deal for Sabah
Federal Land Development Authority (FELDA) should return 306,000 acres of land to the State of Sabah because FELDA had breach its promise and reneged from its obligations to develop the land given to FELDA intended to serve the interest of the people of Sabah.

At the same time, Sabah BN State Government should be held responsible for its failure to protect the interest of the State and its people in the land settlement schemes undertaken by FELDA.

KENINGAU: Over 2,000 enthusiastic crowd turned up at the joint launching of three divisions of State Reform Party (STAR) Sabah chapter at a food court hall near here yesterday.

The three STAR divisions are Keningau, Tenom and Pensiangan. Its chairman here, Datuk Dr Jeffrey Kitingan, launched them in front of an enthusiastic crowd which often disrupted speeches by the party leaders

KOTA KINABALU: The much anticipated federal government’s green light for a Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) on how Filipino and Indonesian illegal immigrants gained Malaysian documents in Sabah has been met with suspicion by the State Reform Party (Star).

Star state chapter chairman Jeffrey Kitingan, who has been demanding an investigation for years, said though Sabahans welcomed the setting up of the RCI, the government must ensure its sincerity and integrity are reflected in the RCI.

He said he would like the federal leaders to consider a few points that are vital to safeguarding the country’s and the RCI’s own integrity.

KOTA KINABALU: The anticipated Federal Government's agreement to finally set up a Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) on the unabated influx of Filipino and Indonesian illegal immigrants and dubious Malaysian documents issued to them in Sabah is met with some skeptical in State Reform Party (STAR).

STAR state chapter chairman, Dr Jeffrey Kitingan, who had been flogging this issue for years, said though Sabahans welcome the setting up of RCI, the government must ensure its sincerity and integrity are reflected in the RCI.
