SINGAPORE: It is a fact known to all that Malays in Singapore is a minority. However this minority is quite different from other minorities in the world.
Similarly, to some, Singapore is just a red dot in this vast Asian region. But it is no ordinary red dot.
It is a grave mistake to equate size with ability, just as it is wrong to assume that being small and in the minority is to be weak and insignificant.

KUCHING – The Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) has been urged to save itself from the clutches of Chief Minister Abdul Taib Mahmud and salvage whatever little dignity and pride it has left.
“SUPP must not be blind to the writing on that wall. For too long, the party has an image of being a mere stooge of Chief Minister Abdul Taib Mahmud. To continue supporting Taib now will seal the fate of SUPP. The party will be buried in the coming state election,” Movement For Change, Sarawak (MoCS) leader Francis Paul SIah said here today.

Baru Bian is MoCS’s choice as chief minister
KUCHING – Sarawak PKR chairman Baru Bian is the choice of the Movement For Change, Sarawak (MoCS) to be the chief minister of Sarawak should Pakatan Rakyat comes into power after the next state election.
“Today, MoCS officially endorses Baru Bian as the new Sarawak CM in the event of a change of government after the polls,” the movement’s leader Francis Paul Siah announced here Sunday.
“For the past six months, MoCS has been looking for a suitable candidate to present to the people of Sarawak as their new CM. We have found that person in Baru Bian,” he told the MoCS public forum held at a local hotel here.
