‘Najib must act against Taib’

Is he too scared to take action against Taib?
KUALA LUMPUR: Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim has called on Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak to act against the Sarawak chief minister.
He said action must be taken against Taib Mahmud based on the recent video expose made by an international NGO, Global Witness.
The video showed Taib’s family and his cronies abusing logging licences to enrich themselves, at the expense of ordinary Sarawakians.
An undercover investigator, posing as an investor, went to Sarawak in the pretext of buying land to set up palm oil plantations and was directed to buy licences from those linked to Taib.

Sarawak cop, gangsters assault youth

Sarawak DAP wants the IGP to act on 21-year-old
Andrewson Ngalai’s report against a police inspector.
By Joseph Tawie
KUCHING: A police inspector attached to the General Operations Force (GOF) not only aided and abetted a group of gangsters in assaulting a 21-year-old coffeeshop worker, but also took part by slapping the youth in the early hours of March 14.
The inspector’s act was caught on a CCTV camera in a coffeeshop at MJC Batu Kawah where Andrewson Ngalai anak Tandang works.
After Andrewson lodged a report at the MJC Batu Kawah police station on the same day, the man seen in the CCTV was identified as the police inspector attached to the GOF at Batu Kawah by other officers.

Farmer slashed by Taib-linked men

Surik Muntai and 300 other landowners from 17 longhouses
from Melikin in Serian district are suing a company linked
to two PBB leaders for encroaching into their NCR land.
KUCHING: A director of an oil palm plantation company, linked to two leaders in Chief Minister Taib Mahmud’s Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu has been detained for allegedly assaulting a 67-year-old farmer over a native customary rights land issue.
Serian police confirmed that Andrew Wong, a director in United Teamtrade Sdn Bhd was arrested three days ago and is currently in remand.
Wong together with three other security personal, one allegedly armed with a  parang, had attacked farmer Surik Muntai last Friday while he was waiting to pick up his son from the Sungai Menyan primary school.
He was severely wounded and suffered a broken right arm and legs in the attack. He is now recuperating in the Sarawak General Hospital, Kuching.

800,000 Filipinos may be sent home

Those who became Malaysian citizens under
Project IC will be the most affected.
MANILA: The majority, if not all, of the 800,000 Filipinos based in Sabah may be sent back to the Philippines on the premise that they had acquired their Malaysian citizenship illegally over the past 20 years under a controversial systematic granting of citizenship to foreigners dubbed Project IC (identity cards).
Project IC, which is blamed on former Malaysian prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohammad, was said to be among the factors that led followers of Sultan Jamalul Kiram III to “invade” Sabah in February. Most of the Filipinos who benefited from the project in the past are Tausugs from the nearby islands of Sulu and Tawi-Tawi.

HOW THE NATION IS SOLD BY MAHATHIR !

By: Nash Ar-Rawy
Citizenship is not a game  to be played with as a mockery by the politicians , National Leadership and government servants such the Immigration Department, NRD  “ PDRM “ , “ SPRM” and EC.

Because it involves the future of the country and national security. But Mahathir had sold out Malaysia just to win theGeneral Election in Sabah . He had also humiliated the Chinese and Indians in this country when he argued about the citizenship given by Tunku to the British Subjects in Malaysia.

Our Police In Action: Only in Malaysia

NOTE the police could easily spot & stopped ONE boat with 3 Al Jazeera journalists sailing to Lahad Datu Sabah but not a FLOTILLA with over 300 (?)  armed men heading in the same direction- they apparently slipped in under their radar!

Also the UMNO Gov't had not problems to deport an unarmed Aussie politician who was a "security threat" and helpless in handling the real security threat by the armed men.

When hundreds of armed foreigners "invaded" Sabah, our Police and Armed Forces pussy footed. Give water, hold negotiations, and even gentlemanly pleaded them to leave peacefully. Our Police treated them like VIPs.

Unarmed Bersih and Hindraf protesters (only armed with salt and water bottles ) are tear gassed and shot with chemically laced water cannons and some even attacked indiscriminately by dozens of policemen injuring dozens.

Dirtiest election to come: Sex scandals will entertain Malaysians

Controversial businessman Deepak Jaikishan has turned the heat on Prime Minister Najib Razak. Stripping off the gloves, the 40-year-old former confidante of Najib's wife Rosmah Mansor has just unleashed a fresh barrage of allegations that could submerge the political fortunes of the Malaysian PM and his Umno party.

Flora Ong is now the name on the lips of many followers of the Altantuya Shaaribuu-Scorpene submarines saga, even though she is not directly linked to the murder and corruption case that Deepak has accused the first couple of having a hand in.

Police escorts a danger to motorists

Why must a VIP get right of way at the expense
of law abiding rakyat who are oftentimes
rough-housed to the side of road? asks an activist
By Luke Rintod of FMT
KOTA KINABALU: Police, especially traffic police, escorting VIPs on Sabah roads are being accused of endangering other road users when conducting their duties. A social activist said he recently almost met with an accident when overzealous police escorts forced him to the verge of the road to give way to a VIP speeding towards him
Donny Yapp, a director of UK-based NGO, Borneo Rights International (BRI), said the policemen simply “bulldozed” their way through the traffic and confused other motorists on a highway by waving their hands and pointing their fingers at them to get off the road.
Yapp said he was shocked earlier this week when a police outrider suddenly appeared alongside his vehicle frantically waving and pointing to one side of the road and the divider.

A case of scratching each other’s back?

In 1985, Tun Mustapha said perhaps the federal government
wanted to use Manila's claim on Sabah against its people as
a bargaining chip to make them behave.
KOTA KINABALU: With the 13th General Election drawing near, it seems to be a fishy coincidence that the Sultan of Sulu and his family have suddenly decided to revive their claim to Sabah as part of their ancestral right.
In an interview with the Philippines’ Daily Inquirer, Crown Prince Rajah Mudah Agbimuddin Kiram, reportedly said that they will have to pursue the Sabah claim on their own since the Philippines government appeared to have ignored their demand to include their claim to Sabah as an “integral and essential” aspect of the peace agreement involving “any armed group in Mindanao”.

What really made Pope Benedict XVI resigns ?

Did a Cross-Dressing Priest Sex Ring
Bring Down Benedict XVI?
Of all the rumors floating around about just why Pope Benedict XVI is hanging up his camauro, one has taken on a life of its own. According to several well-placed vaticanisti—or Vatican experts—in Rome, Benedict is resigning after being handed a secret red-covered dossier that included details about a network of gay priests who work inside the Vatican, but who play in secular Rome. The priests, it seems, are allegedly being blackmailed by a network of male prostitutes who worked at a sauna in Rome’s Quarto Miglio district, a health spa in the city center, and a private residence once entrusted to a prominent archbishop. The evidence reportedly includes compromising photos and videos of the prelates—sometimes caught on film in drag, and, in some cases, caught “in the act.”

Social activist Azlan injured in brutal attack

LATEST ATTACK: A wounded Azlan lies
on the ground surrounded by members of
the public and police. Part of the broken
bat can be seen next to him.
KUCHING: Self-proclaimed social activist Azlan Abdullah sustained suspected multiple fractures when he was attacked by men armed with baseball bats yesterday.

The attack occurred around noon in front of a serviced apartment at Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman, where the 53-year-old resides, and the incident comes nearly a year after he was badly wounded in a similar incident.

This time around, witnesses reported that three men -each carrying a bat– rushed out of a black Toyota Hilux parked by the roadside and attacked Azlan as he was standing by the front steps of the apartment.

“It looked as if it was planned as the men rushed out the moment they saw him,” said a male witness who asked not to be named.

I accuse once again Dr Mahathir for racism in Malayasia

This is the most damning article I have come across on the Mamak-Pseudo Malay’s granting of citizenship to Filipino and Indonesian Muslims in Sabah in 1994 so that they may vote his political party into power.
And what was worse than that criminal act was his utterance that Tunku Abdul Rahman did something even more outrageous in granting citizenship to Chinese, Indians and other non-Malays when Malaya achieved independence from the British in 1957.

I ACCUSE ONCE AGAIN, DR. MAHATHIR MOHAMAD, EX-PRIME MINISTER OF MALAYSIA (1981-2003)!!

Once again, I regard it as my duty to pay homage to and keep alive what I regard as the greatest newspaper article of all time -

Why is Musa protecting a ‘criminal’?

Alleged Filipino conman Manuel Amalilio was given a
legal and valid Phillipines passport in 2009. This
means he automatically lost his citizenship under
Article 24 of the federal constitution.
PETALING JAYA: Sabah Chief Minister Musa Aman must explain the depth of his ‘family’ ties with alleged Filipino conman Manuel Amililio and why he obstructed the later’s arrest and deportation to the Philipinnes. He also must explain why the entire court proceedings involving Amililo was carried out in a hospital.
Musa had last week admitted that Amalilio was a ‘distant relative’ but said ‘whether or not’ they were related the authorities must carry out a thorough investigation.
Amililio, was arrested last November and immediately ‘handed over’ to the Philippines police. But 10minutes before boarding the flight the decision was rescinded and he was returned to Sabah police.

Mahathir's Tall Tales on Sabah!

By Joe Fernandez

We have heard it all now on Sabah from former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad.

In his latest take on the on-going Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) in the state, Mahathir claims that he instructed that only those eligible in Sabah should be granted citizenship.

This is rich!

He’s degenerating before our very eyes even as a poor liar.

There’s an old Malayalee saying with which Mahathir should be familiar: “Once you tell a lie, you must tell a thousand other lies to cover up the first lie.”

RPK: For God, King and Racism

Malaysia Today editor blasts Umno for its distorted
version of the country's history and debunks its
claim of having fought for independence
CAMBRIDGE: Raja Petra Kamarudin debunked Umno’s version of Malaysian history and detailed Tunku Abdul Rahman’s sorrow at the destruction of his vision of a multiracial Malaysia, when he spoke at Cambridge University South East Asia Forum (CUSEAF), first Lent term event on Wednesday evening.
Within a stone’s throw of the Tunku’s alma mater, St Catherine’s College Cambridge, Raja Petra told the audience of 90 people, comprising mainly students in their 20s that, “the Tunku used to say he was the happiest PM in the world, but in a later interview, said, ‘I wish I had died earlier…living to this age and seeing my fellow Malayans killing one another. It saddens me. This is not what I planned for my country.’”
According to the Malaysia Today editor, the Tunku died a heartbroken man and neither spoke to, nor forgave the person whom he blamed as the architect of the mess – Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

Amalillo, a ‘distant relative’, says Musa

Sabah Chief Minister Musa Aman wants the authorities
to investigate alleged conman Manuel Armillo and
"take the necessary action" – relative or not.

KOTA KINABALU:  Sabah Chief Minister Musa Aman whilst denying allegations that he prevented the deportation of a suspected Sabah conman involved in scamming 15,000 investors of RM895 million in the Philippines, confessed that Manuel Karingal Amalillo is a “distant relative”.
“The arrest of a man named Manuel Amalilio (seated third from left) reached me like it reached most people, through the news.
“I have a large family and I have just recently been informed that this individual is a distant relative.

Anwar before RCI will be High Noon

By Joe Fernandez
It can be safely assumed that the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) in Sabah will find it extremely difficult not to take up Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim’s publicly expressed willingness to appear before it. The RCI resumed this week after a short break.

The RCI must not give the impression to the public that they have been instructed by the Government to do everything possible not to allow anyone to embarrass former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad during its proceedings.

Mahathir behind Project IC, says Anwar

The opposition leader points his fingers at former
prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamed instead.
PETALING JAYA: Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim today reiterated his stance that he had nothing to do with the citizenship-for-votes granted to Sabah immigrants in the 1990s.
Instead, he accused former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad of being responsible for the task force allegedly responsible for the citizenships granted to the immigrants.
He also claimed that the exercise was ongoing and suggested that the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) haul up Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak and former premier Abdullah Ahmad Badawi as well.

Housewife gunned down by cops, hubby seeks justice

NONEA lorry driver has accused the police of firing mercilessly, and without cause, at a car in Klang, killing his wife and leaving his two children without a mother.

Foo Voon Kong, 26, said the Jan 18 incident took place about 7.45pm near Taman Sentosa, when his wife Pua Bee Chun, 22, was in the passenger seat of the car driven by a male friend.

Foo said shots were fired at the car, at the side where his wife had been sitting.

Mahathir a betrayal for Malaysia, says Baru Bian

By Baru Bian
Reading the testimonies of the various witnesses at the RCI hearings, I cannot help but feel intense anger at the betrayal of our people by Dr Mahathir. By his clandestine and illegal Project IC or Ops Durian Buruk, he managed to single-handedly manipulate the demographics of Sabah, which may have a very different socio-economic and geo-political landscape today but for his meddling. The extent of the effects of Dr Mahathir’s high-handed interference on Sabah’s culture, ethnic cohesion and development will be difficult to measure. This exercise in social engineering is all the more reprehensible for its main criteria, ie the requirement that the illegal immigrants must be Muslims to be eligible for ICs and citizenships.
