Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) secretary-general Datuk Johnny Mositun wants the Sabah Education Department to act quickly and firmly against teachers and school officials who exceeded their authority and acted beyond the limits of proprietary.

We don’t want Umno in Sabah too

Kota Kinabalu:    “Umno should not have a place in Sabah politics as it has meddled, manipulated and damaged Sabah.   Many non-fixed deposit voters in Sabah do not want Umno in Sabah too” said Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan, Chairman of STAR Sabah echoing the call by the Chief Mnister of Sarawak that there is no place for Umno in the Sarawak's politics.

Stop Subservient Mindset and Advance Education of Sabahans

Kota Kinabalu:     “Educators at all levels in Sabah especially Sabahans need to change their mindset as subservient servants serving their masters in Putrajaya.   They should not cover-up and defend wrong-doings but instead take issues and matters by the horn and do the right thing so that education in Sabah can advance” said Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan, STAR Sabah Chief.

Education in Sabah is at all-time lows resulting In Sabahans languishing at the bottom of the employment pile with many landed with factory and menial jobs and tens of thousands being unemployed.

Provide Records of Esscom Detainees and Prevent Past Illegalities

Kota Kinabalu:     “While the on-going operations to weed out illegal immigrants are welcomed and lauded, good governance and stringent action needs to be taken to prevent recurrence of Project IC and the dubious issuance of Malaysian ICs to ineligible foreigners and registration as illegal voters” commented Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan, STAR Sabah Chief, and Bingkor Assemblyman on the arrests of immigration officers and separate attempts by Pakistanis being charged to bribe Immigration officers and swoops to weed out illegals.

Prioritize Development and Build Pan Borneo Highway in Full

Kota Kinabalu: “Sabah and Sarawak BN leaders must speak up and tell the federal government to re-assess its development priorities for Malaysia and in particular for Sabah and Sarawak.  What has happened for the past 10 Malaysian Plans must change if Malaysia is to survive for the next 50 years?” said Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan, STAR Sabah Chief noting that the Chief Minister of Sarawak has called for prioritizing development in Sarawak while Sabah leaders have remained muted.

Pairin’s Tech-Comm Should Be Bipartisan and All Encompassing

Kota Kinabalu:    “The Technical Committee of Foreign Migrant Management (Tech-Comm) headed by Tan Sri Pairin should be fully empowered and be bipartisan and all-encompassing in its approach towards solving the illegal immigrants problems in Sabah including solutions to the ICs given not in accordance with the law and ineligible voters entered in the electoral rolls as was in the findings of the RCI” said Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan, STAR Sabah Chief, on the hand-over of the letter of appointment to Tan Sri Pairin by the Home Minister recently.

Chief Justice Tun Arifin Zakaria says in his judgment that Saiful Bukhari Azlan, who had accused Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim of sodomising him, is a credible witness.

"We find PW1 (Saiful) to be a credible witness," said Arifin.

He went on to say: "We find ample corroborative evidence to support Saiful's testimony." He added that the trial judge had also found ample corroborative evidence that he was sodomised.

Sabah Christian dad in tears at first sight of daughter in tudung

PAPAR, Feb 8 — Sitting on the porch of his wooden stilt house, Sabahan rubber tapper Jilius Yapoo’s eyes welled up with tears when he recalled his shock earlier this week when he saw his 16-year-old daughter in a tudung (Muslim headscarf) for the first time.
The staunch Christian dusun said he had gone to his daughter’s hostel to take her home for the weekend when the teenager emerged garbed in the tudung, looking upset.
“She was wearing the tudung and showed it to me. I teared up and she looked at me and cried.

Sarawak Should Learn From Sabah's Bitter Lessons
