STAR: National Security and Sovereignty at Stake

“National security and sovereignty is at stake with the continued and irresponsible issuance of Mykads and citizenships to foreigners in Sabah” stated Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan, STAR Sabah Chairman, in reference to the report by Mr. Mansor Santiri, President of Persatuan Bajau Bumiputra  Semporna, pertaining to the concerns by the Semporna Bajaus on the issuance of MyKads to foreigners by the National Registration Department’s mobile registration unit in Semporna.

“I simply cannot understand why our Sabah leaders, who are in the position of power, just stand by doing nothing and continue to allow these backdoor granting of citizenships to foreigners to happen?” lamented Dr. Jeffrey.

Sabah Sarawak Bn Govts Should Scrap Cabotage: Star

“The Sabah and Sarawak State Governments should get the Federal Government to immediately scrap the Cabotage Policy” said Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan, the STAR Sabah Chief in response to the calls by Sabah BN components for the federal government to suspend or review the cabotage policy.

It defies logic that the BN components can only voice their frustrations in the media on the cabotage policy.   If being part of the BN federal government and the BN parties in Sabah and Sarawak are powerless to secure the scrapping of the cabotage policy, there is no further reason for them to remain in the Barisan Nasional.

Bumburing Welcomed to Join STAR Sabah

“Datuk Wilfred Bumburing is welcomed to join STAR Sabah and its struggle to regain the lost State rights which will lead to a better future for Sabah” said Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan, the STAR Sabah Chief, to rumours of Bumburing quitting UPKO over unhappiness with Umno/BN’s treatment of Sabah.

“There is no denying that Sabah BN components are completely powerless and their leaders should realize by now that Sabahans have been fooled and cheated for the last 48 years resulting in Sabah losing its autonomy and political power as well as “loss” of its oil revenue and other tax revenues”.

Save Sabah To Save Malaysia If Committed To Malaysia’s Future

“The Prime Minister should take immediate steps to restore the rights and autonomy of Sabah to save Sabah and to save Malaysia if he is genuinely and sincerely committed to the future of Malaysia” said Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan, the STAR Sabah Chief in response to the report that the Prime Minister is committed to the future of Malaysia.

Sabahans are now more politically matured and are demanding that the legitimate rights and autonomy of Sabah that were promised by the founding fathers of Malaysia be restored.

Dr M : I made Robert Kuok a Tycoon ! What Rubbish !

By Ms Li Xiang Lan
I just took a cursory glance through what Mahathir said here, and you may quote that me a woman is offended like "no fury greater than woman being" conned by the outbursts of a man who was once Prime Minister of our Beloved Land, Malaysia. Is he still in possession of his right senses or is now already senile, talking through his "where the sun never shines" ?

SAPP will fight to get back Labuan

Penampang, March 9, 2012: Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) President Datuk Seri Panglima Yong Teck Lee said his party would fight for the return of Labuan while the surrendered of huge maritime territories known as Block L and Block M rich with oil to Brunei would haunt the present UMNO-led Barisan Nasional (BN) Government.

He said Sabah lost Labuan to the Federal Government some 28 years ago while the Block L and Block M territories off Sabah waters measuring a combined 3 million acres were given to Brunei during the last days of Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi (now Tun) tenure as Prime Minister.

History Of Chinese & Indians In Malaysia

As stated by Raja Petra Kamarudin (RPK)
RPK
A confusion has erupted due to ignorance. It has been stated that the Indians came here as beggars and the Chinese as prostitutes. Actually, if you were to really study Malayan and Malaysian history over the last 500 years or so, you will find that this country's history is not just about beggars and prostitutes. It is about much more than that.

Malayan history has to be dissected into many periods. And each of these periods saw immigration involving almost all the races in Malaysia , save the Orang Asli (the Original People). In New Zealand , these Orang Asli would be the Maoris and in Australia the Aborigines. Therefore, anyone who is neither a Maori nor an Aborigine is a `pendatang' or immigrant

ATT00001111.jpgThe following was written by Ben Stein and recited by him on CBS Sunday Morning Commentary.

Apparently the White House referred to Christmas Trees as Holiday Trees for the first time this year which prompted CBS presenter, Ben Stein, to present this piece which I would like to share with you. I think it applies just as much to many countries as it does to America ...

My confession:

I am a Jew, and every single one of my ancestors was Jewish. And it does not bother me even a little bit when people call those beautiful lit up, bejewelled trees, Christmas trees. I don't feel threatened. I don't feel discriminated against. That's what they are, Christmas trees.
