Sabah Sarawak Should Move to Review Oil Agreement and Revoke PDA – Dr. Jeffrey

Kota Kinabalu:    The governments of Sabah and Sarawak should pass a motion in their respective Legislative Assemblies to review the Petroleum ‘Surrender’ Agreement (PSA) and thereafter cooperate with Pakatan MPs to revoke or outlaw the Petroleum Development Act (PDA) 1974 said Datuk Dr Jeffrey Kitingan, President of the Borneo Heritage Foundation who is also STAR Sabah Chairman.

Salleh: Resolve oil royalty issue now

KOTA BELUD: Sabah Umno Liaison Committee deputy chief Salleh Said Keruak has cautioned Putrajaya against ignoring calls for an urgent review of the current 5% oil royalty.

He said an immediate review was necessary and timely in view of the mounting calls from leaders within the Barisan Nasional coalition here and in Sarawak.

Salleh, who is also state legislative assembly speaker, believed the majority of the people of Sabah would support such a move.

Kiev, Ukraine (CNN) -- Interim Ukrainian President Oleksandr Turchynov ordered the withdrawal of armed forces from Crimea Monday, citing Russian threats to the lives of military staff and their families.
Russian troops have seized most of Ukraine's bases in the peninsula, including a naval base at Feodosia on Monday. Russia annexed Crimea last week after a controversial referendum that Ukraine and the West say was illegal.

Run of bad luck for MAS continues

PETALING JAYA: Even as a multinational effort is ongoing to locate MH370 which went missing over the Gulf of Thailand on March 8 with 239 people aboard, Malaysia Airlines’ (MAS) run of bad luck continues.

While the search efforts, now concentrated south of the Indian Ocean, has turned up nothing conclusive as to what happened to the Boeing 777-200ER, another two MAS aircrafts ran into problems within the last week.

A MAS aircraft on a flight from Kuala Lumpur with 180 passengers and crew members on board had a close call while landing at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Flying low? Burning object? Ground witnesses claim they saw Flight 370

By Michael Martinez, CNN
March 19, 2014 -- Updated 2314 GMT (0714 HKT)

(CNN) -- How could a commercial airliner disappear without a sign, you ask?

In fact, several people on the ground or at sea claimed they saw Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 before it went missing after its post-midnight takeoff from Kuala Lumpur on March 8.

The purported eyewitnesses include fishermen, an oil rig worker and islanders in an atoll. Some even alleged they saw it crash.

Krisis perkataan Allah•Hak berperlembagaan•Kebebasan beragama

Russia “Puzzled” Over Malaysia Airlines “Capture” By US Navy

A new report circulating in the Kremlin today prepared by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces (GRU) states that Aerospace Defence Forces (VKO) experts remain “puzzled” as to why the United States Navy “captured and then diverted” a Malaysia Airlines civilian aircraft from its intended flight-path to their vast and highly-secretive Indian Ocean base located on the Diego Garcia atoll.

Malaysia Airlines Mystery Deepens After Top Disease Experts Rushed To Indian Ocean

By: Sorcha Faal, and as reported to her Western Subscribers

A grim report prepared by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces (GRU) on Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 is stating today that within 24-hours of this aircrafts “diversion” to the highly secretive Indian Ocean US military base located on the Diego Garcia atoll, no less than four flights, within the past week, containing top American and Chinese disease scientists and experts have, likewise, been flown to there.

Dr J tenang sentiasa tenang menjawab persoalan saya.

“Cuba Kerajaan Pusat beri kita kuasa. Masalah mereka sama seperti kita. Menuntut hak kebebasan.

U.S. officials lean toward 'those in the cockpit' behind missing flight

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (CNN) -- U.S. intelligence officials are leaning toward the theory that "those in the cockpit" -- the pilots of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 -- were responsible for the mysterious disappearance of the commercial jetliner, a U.S. official with direct knowledge of the latest thinking told CNN on Saturday.

Perevalnoye, Ukraine (CNN) -- Preliminary results in Sunday's referendum on whether Ukraine's Crimea region should join Russia or become an independent state show overwhelming support for Russia.

Chased out first by police, now Mara

Families of former Sabah "Border Scouts" were shocked
when MARA officers said they were told by Sabah Land
and Survey Department to have a look at 10 acres of
their 45 acre settlement.
By Luke Rintod of FMT
KENINGAU : Days after families of former Sabah “Border Scouts” or “polis pengakap sempadan” aired their worries of being chased out from their settlement a second time by their own former employer, the PDRM or Royal Police of Malaysia, another federal agency has taken an interest to take over part of their 45 acres here.

Families of those aged and some ill former warriors of Sabah’s border were taken aback when a group of officers claiming to be from MARA or Maktab Rendah Sains MARA (MRSM) came to their settlement and took pictures of the areas last week.

Fulfill Malaysia Agreement or Go Separate Ways - Dr. Jeffrey

Kota Kinabalu: “Now that the installation of Pehin Sri Taib as the 7th Governor of Sarawak has taken place, the leaders of Sabah and Sarawak need to focus and speak with one voice that the Malaysia Agreement needs to be implemented and fulfilled” said Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan, STAR Sabah Chief, commenting on Malaysia’s top judge, Chief Justice Tun Arifin Zakaria that Sabah and Sarawak formed Malaysia and that they are key partners in the Federation of Malaysia.

Breaking the Mind Control in Malaysia, Sarawak Style

Jurucakap GANASThe government especially the BN/UMNO government has been involved in mind control experiments since Malaysia is formed.  Their forays into this activities can be seen from their attempt to distort history, which some are directly imposed upon the ignorant population through the education history curriculum especially in schools.  There are also other ways less obvious that they are doing through “subliminal stimuli” – using any sensory stimuli below individual threshold for conscious perception.  These have been scientifically proven and the techniques used extensively after the First World War especially in the United States and Europe.  For more detail review of these ideas please read Gustav La Bon, Edward Barney and Walter Lippmann.
As the result, these techniques become a tool that the authority in Malaysia has adopted to indoctrinate the population to conform to a certain ideas.  A very good example of this is in the use of subliminal stimuli on the general population to accept that Malaysia was established since 1957.

LIMITATIONS TO SUPREMACY OF MALAYSIA CONSTITUTION

zainal4Who cares when you or me shouted defiance at UMNO, but when a Chief Minister of a State whisper defiance the whole world take notice.  Defiance in the face of nature or such things is just a mere shouting match.  But defiance against the most powerful and long lasting political party such as UMNO in Malaysia now that is for the history books.  Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud rejection over UMNO and its brand of politics in Sarawak is something not to be trifle with.  To strengthen his defiance he had thrown the Malaysia Agreement 1963 to legitimize his claim.  Taib tough stand exposes Sabah government weaknesses and pathetic effort in defending Sabah “independent” rights as well.  Effectively Taib has drawn a clear dividing line between Sarawak and UMNO in Malaya, but what about UMNO in Sabah? Is Taib leaving his rear wide open?

Jalibin also said that Datuk Abidin Madingkir, the Mayor of Kota Kinabalu also ought to be commended for taking the appropriate action to consider Masidi’s proposal.

Islam not a religion but way of life, says Kuwaiti writer

GEORGE TOWN, Feb 25 — Islam has been misunderstood to be a “religion” when it is really a way of life that preaches freedom for all, including non-Muslims, Kuwaiti author and Islamic motivational speaker Dr Tareq Al-Suwaidan said last night.

The self-described “moderate Islamist”, whose television shows draw millions of viewers on satellite networks in the Middle East, also said Islam’s goal is to create a civil state that administers justice that does not discriminate against a person’s skin colour, gender, or creed.

Read facts about "secession"

Ezra Haganez
KOTA KINABALU : What is "secession"? The current trending word "secession" or "seceding" is derived from the Latin term secessio, which describes the act of withdrawing from an organisation, union, or a political entity.
World's history, both in olden days and recent, is astoundingly littered with the act of "seceding". In Americas, Europe, Africa, Indias and even nearby Indonesia the act of seceding has been just too common. Many seceding territories or states did succeed but others were crushed, violently.

PBS lacks ‘will’ to change

By Calvin Kabaron
TAMBUNAN : Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS), which is said to be Umno’s strongest ally in Sabah, is allegedly losing members to either Umno, PKR or DAP.

Party insiders said memberships in some divisions, especially in constituencies represented by Umno, has dwindled so much that they are unable to reflect a ‘good blend’ of societies within the area.

They described the condition as reflective of a Malay adage: “Hidup segan, mati pun tak mahu”.

Verbal Approval Worthless: Send the RM1 billion allocation – Dr. Jeffrey

Why No Thorough Investigations on Fake Sabah ICs? - Dr. Jeffrey

Kota Kinabalu:    “Fake Sabahan/Malaysians will continue to appear and haunt West Malaysians as long as the federal government refuses to take the illegal issuance of dubious ICs and MyKads in Sabah seriously” said Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan, STAR Sabah Chief commenting on reports of 6 Pakistani taxi drivers being arrested in the Klang Valley with fake ICs impersonating as Sabahans.

Parliamentary Seats are Constitutional Safeguards for Sabah Sarawak – Dr. Jeffrey

Kota Kinabalu:    “Allocation of parliamentary seats for Sabah and Sarawak should not be based solely on population and as though Sabah and Sarawak are equal in status to the States in the Peninsula” said Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan, STAR Sabah Chief, commenting on the view that extra seats will not help Sabah and Sarawak or that Sabah and Sarawak are not entitled to extra seats in the new re-delineation exercise due to its lower population.

It's Not A Question of Secession But Solution - Dr. Jeffrey

Kota Kinabalu:     “When people talk about separation or secession it means that they are fed-up with the situation and see no hope to their future except opting out” said Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan, STAR Sabah Chief, responding to reports that talk of secession is treasonous and threats of being cited for sedition.

It is wrong for any leader or even the government and Ministers to keep on threatening the people and warning them every time there is a mention of wanting to get out of Malaysia.   Instead, they leaders should take the opportunity to listen to the grouses of the people. They cannot seem to understand or refuse to understand the truth behind the discussions and calls for getting out.

Sabah Motorists Shortchanged Again? - Dr. Jeffrey

Kota Kinabalu:    “Sabah motorists have been short-changed again.   It is as though Sabah motorists and Sabah is not part of the federation of Malaysia but in another alien county” said Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan, STAR Sabah Chief in commenting on RM400 million compensation package for toll operators and concessionaires in 2014 so that there is no toll hike for motorists in the Peninsula.

There is no doubt that the government made a U-turn in deciding against imposing the toll hike due to the objections of the people and the opposition.    It is another bad example of the government failing to fully evaluate and appraise themselves before announcing the toll hike and now have to back down and backtrack on their earlier decision.

Obviously, the severe floods were more serious than was originally reported on Thursday and 3 lives appear to be lost to the floods.

Sabah Floods - Activate Flood Mitigation Programs - Dr. Jeffrey

Kota Kinabalu:    “The third round of devastating floods is ravaging Sabah with the loss of the life of a child, yet the federal government has failed to show any urgency in tackling the problems in Sabah.” said Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan, STAR Sabah Chief after the latest round of floods.

More than 30 villages in Tambunan, Keningau and Tenom were flooded with more than 2,000 evacuees in flood relief centres.   There were also reports of serious flooding in the District of Beaufort and flash floods in many other parts of Sabah.   Some 36 schools were also flooded and had to be closed.

Unity in Sarawak will keep Umno out . . .

By Joe Fernandez

KOTA KINABALU : Many Sarawakians are apparently upset that Alfred Jabu, who is by no means that popular in any case, was not named to take over from outgoing Chief Minister Abdul Taib Mahmud. Instead, Adenan Satem was named to replace him. There should be no issue here. If he’s willing to serve, let him serve. Keep an Oversight on him.

SUPP LDP Solutions Lie With their State Not ROS - Dr. Jeffrey

Where’s your dignity, Jabu?

KUCHING: While Sarawak Barisan National Dayak leaders and elected representatives ‘praised’ outgoing Chief Minister Taib Mahmud’s choice of successor, netizens from the community are bitter and angry.

Majority of Sarawak’s voters are Dayaks and if their spewings on social media is any measure then Taib has made a wrong move by sidelining his loyalist, longstanding Deputy Chief Minister Alfred Jabu.

Datuk here, datuk there, datuk everywhere. So what's in a title?

V Shuman
QUICK TAKE: If you pick up a stone today and throw it into a crowd, chances are you will probably hit a datuk, if not two. No, I'm not suggesting violence here. My point is: Datuks are everywhere nowadays.

For the uninitiated, the title is "supposedly" equivalent to the British knighthood (which carries the title Sir) in days gone by. Unfortunately, the prestige that is supposed to come with the title is gone because as a friend of mine used to say "the title is being sold on the back of a bicycle." Or worse, it can even be traded in a pasar malam. How many datuks are really worthy of the title?

Are Sabah BN Leaders Brave Borneo Patriots Like Taib? - Dr. Jeffrey

Kota Kinabalu:“Pehin Sri Taib has spoken and has set the benchmark for patriots of Sabah and Sarawak to follow in his footsteps.  Well-spoken as a true Sarawak/Borneo patriot.   Will Sabah BN leaders prove themselves to be brave Borneo patriots looking after and protecting the interests of Sabah and Sabahans or remain as proxies and stooges of Kuala Lumpur?”asked Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan, STAR Sabah Chief, commenting on the Sarawak CM’s statement that his successor should ensure Umno and its brand of racially divisive politics is kept out of Sarawak andto vigorously protect the state's rights as spelled out in the Malaysia Agreement 1963.

Why is Govt Not Pushing SESB for Compensation? - Dr. Jeffrey

Kota Kinabalu:    “It seems that the people and everyone else has suffered losses from the recent power blackout and asking for compensation from SESB but not the Sabah government and its leaders” said Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan, STAR Sabah Chief in response to the call by the Kota Kinabalu Chinese Chambers of Commerce for SESB to compensate consumers in the form of cash rebate or tariff discount.

The Sabah government and the federal Energy Minister should not have allowed the federal government to the 16.9% increase in electricity tariffs in the first place.
