By Ezra Haganez
Dr. Jeffrey
PENAMPANG : A social and consumerism activist here said the recent action taken by some pioneers of Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) from Kepayan to finally leave the party and joined an opposition State Reform Party (STAR) is laudable.

Donny Yapp, 48, said it is a pleasant shock to many yet a historic brave move that signaled the Chinese warming up to Dr Jeffrey's untiring struggle to fight for Sabah state rights and autonomy.

STAR supports extra seats for Sabah, Sarawak

“STAR Sabah supports additional state and parliamentary seats for Sabah and Sarawak and the need to observe the composition ratio of parliamentary seats agreed at the formation of Malaysia as well as ensure a fairer and more equitable distribution of funds for each constituency and the access to facilities and amenities by the people in both States” stated Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan, Chairman of STAR Sabah in response to the opinion and suggestion of lawyer, Yunuf Maringking, on additional seats for Sabah.

Barisan National” : Heaven-Sent or Hell-Sent?

I am just returning from Ulu Baram, campaigning against the Baram dam.It is the ultimate duty for every Baramites who with the right minds to stand, fight tooth and nail to save the Baram from that intentional, calculative and man-made disaster.

Referring to the Tua Kampung of Long Kavuk had mentioned in his email, “Despite of being the minority ethnic group call the “Orang Ulu”, we are definitely going off an economic and cultural cliff as the result our weak leadership through our Ketua Mesarakat. This question is no longer of, "IF”. It is merely a matter of, "When”? Our day of reckoning will “When” we’ll be completely fall-flatten on the ground" should we continue to choose wrong leader(s) to lead us during this turbulent time.

STAR Ups Unity and Takes Penampang and Sepanggar By Storm

“STAR Sabah has forged ahead in adopting the “UNITY IS DUTY” call of the United Borneo Front (UBF) and fostered greater unity and support in seeking the rights and autonomy of Sabah” announced Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan, Chairman of STAR Sabah, in welcoming John Ho, a pioneer of PBS and branch chairman of Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) Taman Oriental Park, Kapayan, at the launching of the KOKAKOBA fellowship last Sunday, 4th March, in Kapayan, Penampang.

Since 1963 Sabah has lost its autonomy and downgraded from a nation within a nation to one of 13 states in Malaysia and to the extent of being cheated and treated as a colony with a loss of political power with leaders being elected with the help of outsiders.

Which way will SAPP swing?

By Luke Rintod of FMT
The Sabah Progressive Party must decide soon on whether
it wants to ally with STAR or Pakatan Rakyat.
KOTA KINABALU: When Sabah STAR (State Reform Party) chairman Jeffrey Kitingan announced the formation of his brainchild United Borneo Alliance (UBA) on Jan 31, the main local opposition in the state, Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP), quickly denied its involvement, claiming nothing concrete had taken place. It was true.

At the time UBA was just Jeffrey’s initiative and SAPP attended the UBA’s so-called inaugural meeting between SAPP, STAR and (pro tem) Usno out of courtesy to Jeffrey.
