KOTA KINABALU: The anticipated Federal Government's agreement to finally set up a Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) on the unabated influx of Filipino and Indonesian illegal immigrants and dubious Malaysian documents issued to them in Sabah is met with some skeptical in State Reform Party (STAR).
STAR state chapter chairman, Dr Jeffrey Kitingan, who had been flogging this issue for years, said though Sabahans welcome the setting up of RCI, the government must ensure its sincerity and integrity are reflected in the RCI.
