Opposition Promises Worrying Bn

THE PROMISES being made by the opposition leaders are so attractive and reasonable, and the support the opposition is getting from the people is now so strong, that the BN leaders are genuinely worried.

The recent visit by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim this week was even more troublesome for them because Anwar made new additional promises that are causing the people to think again more positively about their future.

PRESIDEN UPKO, Tan Sri Bernard Giluk Dompok juga dijangka akan meletupkan sebuah lagi bom jangka yang tertanam di persada politik Sabah jika pertemuannya dengan Perdana Menteri pada 30 Januari ini tidak berhasil.

Mesyuarat Majlis Tertinggi UPKO kelmarin memberikan mandat kepada Dompok untuk membuat apa juga keputusan demi survival parti yang mula tenggelam di celah kebangkitan pribumi Sabah yang mendesak penubuhan sebuah Suruhanjaya Siasatan DiRaja untuk menyiasat pengundi hantu dan kerakyatan songsang di Sabah.

Perlakuan kurang ajar beliau yang menyerang Pengerusi Bersih, Ambiga Sreenevasan, sehari selepas Najib menegaskan ancaman terhadap keselamatan beliau juga menunjukkan bahawa Nazri sedang merencanakan balas dendam untuk bossnya.

KOTA KINABALU: Rumours of Umno strongman Lajim Ukin quitting Umno has gained momentum with more politicians touted to leave with him.

Speculations are rife that aside from Umno’s Bongawan assemblyman, Karim Bujang and former chief minister Osu Sukam, others likely to follow Lajim are Pantai Manis representative Abdul Rahim Ismail, ex-Banggi rep Amir Kahar Mustapha, former Land and Co-operative Development Minister Kasitah Gadam and Upko’s deputy president Wilfred Bumburing
