SAPP Perjuang Hak Asasi Tanah NCR Selain Baiki Ekonomi Negeri Sabah

Oleh Mail Mathew
Beliau optimis BN pasti tumbang pada PRU13 jika
jentera pilihanraya kukuh dan mantap.
TENOM: Presiden Parti Maju Sabah (SAPP) Datuk Seri Panglima Yong Teck Lee menegaskan bahawa parti itu akan terus membela nasib rakyat yang tertindas kerana masalah rampasan tanah dan hak asasi tanah anak negeri (NCR) seperti yang berlaku di Kinabatangan, Serudong Tawau, Kudat, Tenom dan diLahad Datu setelah parti itu diberi mandat rakyat membentuk kerajaan baru selepas pilihanraya umum kali ke-13 (PRU13).

Beliau berkata, rakyat cukup menderita jika keadaan sebegini berterusan apabila hak rakyat yang miskin terus tertindas dimana tanah tanah dirampas, rumah dirobohkan oleh syarikat syarikat gergasi dari luar Sabah, malangnya pihak berkuasa khususnya PDRM tidak berbuat apa apa.

13th General Election demand: Eradicate institutional racism

By Kua Kia Soong
JAN 18 — With the 13th general elections just round the corner, it is time for Malaysians to bring the big issues before the prospective candidates and their parties and to register their commitments to these demands of the Malaysian people. These issues are what the politicians should be debating and each candidate and political party should register their stand on each of these concrete demands. Most of these concrete demands can be delivered very quickly and we will be monitoring closely to see if the candidates/parties carry them out.

11 reasons for not having polls this year

KUALA LUMPUR: The talk in town is that a general election will be called this year some 17 months before this current government's term ends. We think not. And here are 11 reasons why we think the 13th general election will not be called this year:
1. Barisan Nasional is only meeting today to further discuss its seat allocations and, by all accounts, the 14 parties in the ruling coalition have yet to agree on many things, especially candidates. Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak is chairing the meeting to be held at the PWTC.

Polls dry run shows BN can lose Perak, Negri Sembilan

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 1 — The ruling Barisan Nasional (BN) could lose Perak and Negri Sembilan in the next general elections, according to results of a recent dry run. Unless component parties put popular faces and ensure the grassroots machinery garner support from voters.

The Malaysian Insider understands that the Umno election dry run also showed that the BN fortress of Johor could see up to 15 out of the 56 state seats go to their political opponents Pakatan Rakyat (PR), something unheard before Election 2008 when the ruling coalition lost six seats.

11.11.11 - tarikh pilihan raya umum ke-13?

Sabah The Next To fall?

Wednesday, 12 January 2011 admin-s

By GM, Penampang, Sabah.

With the next General Elections looming, Pakatan Rakyat Penampang has shifted its efforts to capture Sabah into overdrive. Spearheading the campaign to topple the ruling elite is PKR Penampang’s information chief Mr. Honorsius Bosuin. Now that the storm has settled in PKR, members are stepping up their efforts to win back public support that was damaged by the alleged PKR election frauds, the exit of Zaid Ibrahim, as well as the Dr. Jeffrey saga.

It cannot be denied that Dr. Jeffrey’s departure has left an impact on PKR/Pakatan Rakyat Sabah; however, I would agree that the impact is minimal as mentioned by YB Saifuddin Nasution. Word on the ground is that people have been wary of Dr. Jeffrey and have anticipated that what happened was coming as he cannot stay in a political party for long and history has repeatedly proven this. We wish him and the United Borneo Front (UBF) all the best in their future struggles.
