Jeffrey: What type of RCI approved by cabinet?

An RCI for Sabah should be done and completed
before the coming general election as many
'foreign' voters in Sabah are already on
the electoral roll.

KOTA KINABALU: The much anticipated federal government’s green light for a Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) on how Filipino and Indonesian illegal immigrants gained Malaysian documents in Sabah has been met with suspicion by the State Reform Party (Star).

Star state chapter chairman Jeffrey Kitingan, who has been demanding an investigation for years, said though Sabahans welcomed the setting up of the RCI, the government must ensure its sincerity and integrity are reflected in the RCI.

He said he would like the federal leaders to consider a few points that are vital to safeguarding the country’s and the RCI’s own integrity.

Be sincere on RCI or loses integrity some more, says Dr Jeffrey

KOTA KINABALU: The anticipated Federal Government's agreement to finally set up a Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) on the unabated influx of Filipino and Indonesian illegal immigrants and dubious Malaysian documents issued to them in Sabah is met with some skeptical in State Reform Party (STAR).

STAR state chapter chairman, Dr Jeffrey Kitingan, who had been flogging this issue for years, said though Sabahans welcome the setting up of RCI, the government must ensure its sincerity and integrity are reflected in the RCI.

Press Statement by Mr Peter Marajin on Mositun and Pairin statements

KOTA BELUD : Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) and all other BN party components from Sabah should be ashamed of themselves because they have failed to convince the UMNO-led Federal Government to set up a Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) on illegal immigrants and fake MyKads in Sabah.

UBF: Political Ploy By Sabah BN On RCI To Garner Votes Only

By Edward Linggu
Edward Linggu
“Sabahans and patriotic Sabahan leaders need to understand the ploy of Sabah BN led by UMNO, PBS and UPKO on the recent announcement by UMNO Sabah that UMNO Sabah has no objections to the setting up of the RCI on illegal immigrants issue. The play-acting continued with UPKO and PBS rushing to “angkat” their political bosses by heaping praise on UMNO’s statement of no objections” said Edward Linggu, Campaign Director of UBF.

While it is to be complimented the statement that UMNO Sabah has no objections to the RCI, it has to seen in the light of growing ground-swell amongst the people in Sabah in support of the RCI including many Muslim NGOs in recent times as well as the backlash against UMNO and Sabah BN in the forthcoming general elections due anytime soon.

SAPP Tenom bidas kenyataan Akjan pertahan bantahan RCI

TENOM: Naib Ketua Pergerakan Pemuda Parti Maju Sabah (SAPP) Pusat Rudy Sulaiman Mairi, membidas kenyataan Pengerusi Pertubuhan Kebajikan Dakwah dan Islamiah Malaysia (Pekida) Sabah Datu Akjan Ali Muhammad yang cuba mengaitkan perintah Allah dan Nabi Muhammad sebagai bahan terbarunya semata mata untuk mempertahan bantahannya terhadap RCI adalah bersifat terdesak dan keterlaluan.

Rci, Peluang Untuk Nyatakan Pandangan

Racial Tension Threats Against RCI Treason and Scandalous

By Awang Ahmad Sah

“The statement by Pekida Sabah head, Akjan, that the proposed Royal Commision of Inquiry (RCI) would cause racial tension among the various ethnic groups in Sabah is not only irresponsible but scandalous, ridiculous and a treason to all genuine Sabahans” replied Awang Ahmad Sah, the Deputy Chairman of UBF.

All ethnic groups in Sabah including local Suluks and Bajaus have been living together and working hand in hand since Independence in 1963 and have even formed the State Government together and shared the power.

Pekida objection to RCI and threat of civil unrest

Press Statements (Dec 19, 2011) by:
1. Peter Marajin
2. Dr Nicholas James Guntobon
3. Fredoline Edwin Lojingki
4. Daniel John Jambun

1. PETER MARAJIN, lawyer and SAPP supreme council member

KOTA KINABALU: It is obvious now that a political party is behind Akjan in objecting the establishment of RCI. No wonder despite the calls by all parties and all concerned Sabahansto form the RCI, this particular party and its leaders from top to bottom are using every mean to dislodge any legitimate attempt to investigate the issuance of dubious citizenship to foreigners. Akjan himself a benefactor of this party has now allowed himself to be used by the party, for reasons best known to both.

Pemuda SAPP: Penubuhan RCI lama tertangguh

Naib Ketua Pergerakan Pemuda SAPP
Rudy Sulaiman Mairi

RCI: Is Umno ready to ‘harakiri’?

Setting up an RCI in Sabah is empty talk because to do
so would be to expose the 'biggest and gravest ever
case of treason in this country's 48 years'.
By Luke Rintod of FMT
KOTA KINABALU: A cross-section of Sabahans are doubtful that the federal government will ever admit to putting into motion a covert operation in the 1980s to re-engineer the demographics of the state in favour of Umno.

Most observers feel the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) recommendation by the Parliamentary Select Committee (PSC) on electoral reforms is all hype.

Polls panel recommends RCI for Project IC, now ball in govt's court

By Nigel Aw
The parliamentary select committee (PSC) on electoral reform in its interim report today proposed the formation of a royal commission of inquiry to investigate claims that foreigners were granted citizenship and the right to vote in Sabah.

In its report, it stated that the recommendation was made following numerous complaints on Project IC during its public hearing in Kota Kinabalu last week.

"Even though this matter is wide and outside the terms of reference of this committee, but the committee recommends the formation of a royal commission of inquiry as a long-term solution," the report reads.

The evil of a racist political party

By Dr Chong Eng Leong
Datuk Chairman, thank you for allowing me, on behalf of Parti Keadilan Rakyat Sabah, to take part in this hearing. My specific area concerns the Electoral Rolls.

1          Introduction

Datuk Chairman and YB-YB, Sabah is in a precarious situation, as far as the non-qualified names (phantom voters) on Sabah electoral rolls are concerned. Precarious because it concerns Sabah’s sovereignty within Malaysia. No Sabah no Malaysia. Save Sabah save Malaysia.
