KDMs ‘pulling rug’ from under Sabah PKR

ENTILIBON: Is Sabah PKR collapsing? It seems like it, at least as far as the “no impact” Kadazandusun Murut community is concerned.
Ironically, it is these people who were the backbone in PKR’s resurgence in Sabah over the last four years.
But the KL-centric PKR seems to be still in denial, going by its vice-president Fuziah Salleh’s recent statement.
Fuziah claimed that the resignation of its former vice-president Jeffrey Kitingan and officials of the party’s KadazandusunMurut Task Force has not impacted the party.

ENTILIBON: Barring any “incidents”, Sabah and Sarawak will soon have a “Borneo Alliance” that can collectively “hold” the 56 parliamentary seats in the states and be in a position to decide the fate of peninsula-based political coalitions.

PETALING JAYA: Police constable V. Navindran (pic) is a free man.
He was this morning acquitted of two counts of causing grievous hurt to A. Kugan while the latter was in police custody two years ago.

Navindran was acquitted without his defence being called.

Can you trust Anwar Ibrahim ?

By Wong Mun Chee

MALAYSIA: A simple recap, in 1972 he formed ABIM and served as their leader. In 1982, he surprised everyone joining UMNO. In 1993, he was made the DPM after forcing out Ghafar Baba. In 1999 after his incarceration, PKR was formed and the rest I guess is the new politics that we see today with the same old political agenda.

"There were deflection as much as 3" or more on all the 3 floors. Certain crucial reinforcement were apparently not in the correct position resulting in very short lever-arm and hence structurally inadequate. With age and the effect of creeps, the deflection can only get worst. The 3 floors were reported to be in a "plastic" stage, and it was declared unsafe."

PRESS STATEMENT BY: TAN SRI DATUK ROBERT PHANG MIOW SIN. Justice of Peace, Chairman – Social Care Foundation

1.            Recently, I came under personal attacks from various anonymous blogs after I raised concerns about public perceptions on a host of issues namely about the lack of action in the MAS Scandal; AG Gani Patail’s Haj Trip under suspicious circumstances; AG Gani Patail’s relationship with the former Chairman of  MAS, Tajudin Ramli’s proxy, one En Shahidan Shafie; whether AG Gani Patail was compromised in his decision to not act on the recommendation of  Dato’ Ramli Yusuff to institute prosecution against Tajudin and several others; about perceived selective prosecution; and also the attempt to clear AG Gani Patail of these allegations of wrongdoing without any investigation.

‘Sabah can review oil deal with Petronas’

Luke Rintod of FMT
PENAMPANG: The Sabah government has the power to review its oil royalty contract with Petronas, according to United Borneo Front (UBF) chief Jeffrey Kitingan.
He said that the state government could also decide how much money it should get from the federal government-owned Petronas for the oil and gas derived from the state.
“The state government has immense power to review its contract with Petronas. The Petroleum Development Act (PDA) 1974 which effectively vests all petroleum throughout this country in one company forever, is itself amendable.

I was 'framed' by the police - victim's testimony

I am a victim of police's abuse. After reading the incident involving Chia Buang Hing, I don't know whether I should be happy and thankful that I did not do what he did. If not, I'll be ended up like him.

This is my story.

After attending a friend's wedding dinner, we carried on the celebration at one of the pubs in Ipoh Garden East, Ipoh.

The party ended at around 2am. I was a bit drunk and decided to have a nap in my car, which I parked nearby before driving home. It was weekend and probably there were police roadblocks. There was also the danger of driving under the influence of alcohol.
