Barisan National” : Heaven-Sent or Hell-Sent?

By Burak Sem
I am just returning from Ulu Baram, campaigning against the Baram dam.It is the ultimate duty for every Baramites who with the right minds to stand, fight tooth and nail to save the Baram from that intentional, calculative and man-made disaster.

Referring to the Tua Kampung of Long Kavuk had mentioned in his email, “Despite of being the minority ethnic group call the “Orang Ulu”, we are definitely going off an economic and cultural cliff as the result our weak leadership through our Ketua Mesarakat. This question is no longer of, "IF”. It is merely a matter of, "When”? Our day of reckoning will “When” we’ll be completely fall-flatten on the ground" should we continue to choose wrong leader(s) to lead us during this turbulent time.

We have seen the wrong leaders our generation who are merely thinking of themselves. This is also referring to our MP, Dato Jacob Dungau Sagan who has been Baram MP for 20 “donkey years”, having timid characters that is lacked the intellectual and powerless to read the sentiments, hardships of his constituency.

It is everyone’s dream to have a government that is run by principled men who walk their talk and lead by example. Unfortunately, recent issues and controversies that plagued the government have left most of us nothing to look forward to. Our government reaps us off from our ancestral lands, rivers, races, cultures, heritages and manipulates our religions. How can we achieve absolute progress when our own ministers, who are supposed to uphold positive principles, are promoting practices that might bring our country deeper into the bottomless pit of failure? I often thinking, is our government Heaven-sent or Hell-send? Well, I leave this question for you to think.

We’ve been badly cheated by "Hell"

At times it really is breathtaking how ugly our Malaysian government has become. Our Government corruptions have become so endemic in our society that most people have just kind of accepted it as "normal". But shouldn't we all get hopping mad when we learn that our state coffers sent billions of ringgits in funding their business empire, and sent billion bailout money to addresses in their business failures?

Shouldn't we all be furious when the candidates for the coming 13th general election involved in swindling RM63million money suppose to be used to improve the basic necessities of his constituency?

Shouldn't we all be alarmed when Family and Community Development Minister Shahrizat Abdul Jalil is leaving it to PM Najib Tun Razak to decide on her position as senator to stand in the coming election, in which she says that "she stand by all means for women’s rights".

Shouldn't we all have right to demand that someone be held responsibility when we find out that our monies are wastefully spends on their greed. On top of everything else, shouldn't we all be absolutely horrified when our top politician, Prime Minister Najib is used by his wife Rosmah Mansor to channel our state coffers to fund their millionaire holiday trips, diamond rings, etc. I don’t to mention about our own billionaire chief minister Abdul Taib Mahmud. You should know about this “father of all termites”.

To be sure, there are many other shits our government and ministers are doing, but to enumerate them all would be an exercise in futility because nothing good will come out of it except further expose the greed and your lust for power and soil whatever remaining silver lining our country's image may have before the eyes of the world. It’s great shame.

In light of what we have already found out, it is absolutely amazing that the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) is still refusing to authorize a complete audit and investigation into the sources for the assets of these politicians and their spouses.

Brothers & sisters,..our government is nothing but a corrupt regime, animals.

Our own chief minister Taib Mahmud and prime minister Najib is fighting tooth and nail to destroy our country.

We no longer live in a free democratic “1-Malaysia” as their slogan. Every day as they take our freedoms and natural born rights away from us, are we suppose to stand by silently and let it happen?

We must all rise up together and crush them in this coming general election. We the people control this country.

Why has the slave-master handed the whip over to the slave? Why do we set idly by while they destroy our country that so many true patriots fought and died in what we enjoy today.

Let your voice be heard!! And let your fist be felt..!!

Let them know that this is our home and they shall not devalue what we have..!!
